VisitUbud.com is free to read and is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works.
What an affiliate link is
Many links on this site — every "Check price & availability" button, the tour cards and the booking widgets — go to GetYourGuide, an online marketplace for tours and activities. Those links carry a partner code that tells GetYourGuide the booking came from us. If you book within a set window after clicking, GetYourGuide pays us a share of their commission.
Hotel links on our where-to-stay page go to Booking.com. If you book a room after clicking, we may earn a commission from Booking.com. So: GetYourGuide for tours, Booking.com for hotels.
It does not cost you anything
You pay exactly the same price as you would going directly. The commission comes from the partner’s margin, not your bill.
What we do with that incentive
- We rank on merit. Editorial picks are based on rating, review volume, what is included and how well an experience fits a real Ubud trip. Nobody can buy a position.
- We tell you when not to book. The Monkey Forest, the palace, Saraswati Temple and the Campuhan Ridge Walk are easy on your own, and we say so.
- We label it. Affiliate links carry
rel="sponsored", and pages that rely on them carry a visible disclosure.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment for placement, inclusion or a better ranking.
- We do not publish sponsored articles or paid reviews.
- We do not run display advertising.
- We do not sell your data. See our privacy policy.
Who handles your booking
We are not a travel agent and we do not process bookings, payments or refunds. Tour bookings are with GetYourGuide and the local operator; hotel bookings are with Booking.com and the property. Contact them for changes, cancellations or problems.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on this site are indicative starting prices at the time of writing and will change. The live price is always the one on the partner’s page.
