You can hire a car from $12/day. Expect discounts for longer rentals. If you don't want to travel around Ubud consider hiring a motorbike. Driving in Ubud tends to be a frustrating experience since traffic might get pretty heavy, there is not much space for parking and roads are narrow.

Driving a car in Bali

• Driving styles of Balinese drivers may vary, but rules of the road are the same as in other developed countries.
