Rivers

Some other awe aspiring sites around Ubud are the rivers. The longest river is Ayung which flows from mountainous regions of the north assisting irrigation of rice fields all the way up to Ubud. When it reaches Ubud it navigates through spectacular Sayan gorge and passes valleys of tropical lush rainforest that are home to many species of birds and animals. The best way to make the most of your exploration of rivers is to go rafting.
